If you're already bored out of your skull reading about the engagement of William and Kate, then give this a miss. But, if you can't get enough royal stuff, read on.

That 18-carat sapphire didn't seem to bring Diana much luck, did it? I guess neither bride- nor groom-to-be has a superstitious streak.  Well, good for them and may they have countless years of happiness together (knock on wood).
