Alix Hawley wins Amazon.ca First Novel Award

All true not a lie

Alix Hawley has won'the Amazon.ca First Novel Award for All True Not a Lie in it. In the book, Daniel Boone gives a first person account of his life and adventures, including time in captivity with the Shawnee Indians. It is also available as an eBook.

First presented in 1976, this award is presented to a Canadian writer for a first novel. It was originally created by the literary magazine Books in Canada and sponsored by SmithBooks until 1994 and then by Chapters. The award is now presented by Amazon.ca and The Walrus.
