Finalists Announced for 2015 Toronto Book Awards

The City of Toronto and the Toronto Public Library today named the five finalists for the 2015 Toronto Book Awards. Established by Toronto City Council in 1974, the awards honour authors of books of literary or artistic merit that are evocative of Toronto. Read more here.

Toronto Public Library Marches on City Hall

100 Toronto Public Library ambassadors (#TPL100) will walk from the Toronto Reference Library to Nathan Phillips Square on May 26, starting at 12:30 pm. Ambassadors aim to encourage Torontonians to increase their use of the library and have 100 reasons to share. Read more here.

St. Michael’s Hospital and Toronto Public Library launch Reach Out and Read program to promote childhood literacy
