Friendship has always given me a warm fuzzy feeling, kind of like the same feeling of being wrapped up in a good book. Here are some cozy books to read today in honour of the United Nations International Day of Friendship:

Without YouWithout You
by Genevieve Côté

This is an adorable story of two friends who have an argument and start to do things without each other, but slowly realize that they miss each other.

Charlotte's WebCharlotte’s Web
by E. B. White

This is one of my all-time favourite books. It’s a story about the special friendship between a spider, pig and a farmer’s daughter.

Frog and Toad are friendsFrog and Toad Are Friends by Arnold Lobel

Sometimes it's the acceptance of differences that make friendship special, a lesson Frog and Toad understand well.

Bear Says Thanks

Bear Says Thanks by Karma Wilson

This story goes to show you that when it comes to friendship, things don’t matter.

A Mountain of Friends
A Mountain of Friends
by Kerstin Schoene

I really enjoyed this book that showed that even the clouds are not too high for a little penguin on a mountain of friends.

Bob and Otto
Bob and Otto by Robert O. Bruel

This is a beautiful story of Otto the worm and his best friend Bob the caterpillar, who looked alike and did everything together – until one day something changed.

  1. I have lots of friends when it comes for celebrations…But this friendship day I am going to gifts those friends who have been with me even at my bad days…There are many friends who don’t even ask whether I am fine or not but when it comes for party and celebration everyone want’s to meet..I would celebrate my day with the one who even after their busy schedule take out time to contact me and know that I am doing good or not.
