A Court of Thorns and Roses by Sarah J. MaasWhat I loved most about A Court of Thorns and Roses were the conversations, the relationships and the dynamics between the characters. The theme of friendship and love was so heartwarming. Any scenes where the characters were at the dinner table or together laughing and teasing each other, it was the small moments that touched me the most. During those scenes, I felt less alone. I felt as if I was with them, laughing with them, as if I was also in their group of tight friends. Rysand, Feyre and all their friends were so dedicated and loyal to each other, willing to do anything to protect each other, willing to do anything for each other's happiness, and that makes me feel safe and loved. I smiled so much reading those small moments, I felt their dedication, their loyalty, I felt their love towards each other. This is one reason why I love reading books.
