Doing it “old school” with microfilm @ Toronto Reference Library
We're doing it old school today and it was fun. I just helped someone find Canadian Architect and Builder Magazine from 1905 on microfilm. Did you know we have reader / printers where you can look at microfilm and microfiche and as well make copies?
Why not visit the Arts Dept on the 5th floor and explore the collection?

Old school is Cool
and to think at one time
it was state of the art
and still worth checking out
Thanks for the reminder
Good to be reminded. I’ve noticed I habitually search first on the net, and often forget about the hard copy & “analog” universes. Will head to the Ref. Lib. soon.
Don’t forget the old Toronto city directories, and the old scrapbooks of biographies of Torontonians, Women’s Institute Tweedsmuir local histories of counties clippings on microfilm on the the fourth floor.
Also the Newspapers on Microfilm in the Toronto Star Newspaper Reading Room on the basement level.
