The school year is upon us now – are you a paren't interested in developing a stronger relationship with your child’s school? Join Agincourt District Branch’s Women’s Support Group in a seminar dedicated to the communication between schools, children, and paren'ts. A guest speaker from Canada Border Services Agency will cover topics including how to get involved in paren't-teacher interviews and with the school’s paren't council. As well, learn about effective paren'ting skills, how to participate in school activities, and practical approaches that you can use to provide homework help for your kids.

The Newcomers' Guide to Secondary School in Ontario will be covered, and is a project of the Settlement Workers in Schools program (SWIS).

To register, please call 647-388-3762. Light refreshments will be provided.
