Pedometers now available at Agincourt Branch

Walking is an easy way to maintain a healthy weight, increase energy and make you stronger.

Toronto Public HealPedometer3.docth suggests 60 minutes of light walking every day or 30-60 minutes of brisk walking four or more days a week.

A pedometer is an excellent way to keep track of the number of steps and the amount of time you walk each day.

Did you know you can borrow a pedometer from your local library branch, and walk into a healthy and active lifestyle?

Ask library staff for more information about the pedometer lending program at a branch near you.

  1. Thank you very much for sharing interesting topic. You are giving very good stuff through this post. I will suggest my friends to read this post. Pedometers are devices used to calculate the number of steps taken by an individual throughout the day. By detection of the hip movement, the device calculates the overall distance walked throughout the day. I have read about Pedometers at http://www.howtoloseweight.org/Pedometers.html What do you think about Pedometers?
