Cool Summer Programs at Steeles Branch!!
Join the staff at Steeles Branch for some fun programs this August:
Eureka TD Summer Reading Club
August Programs for Ages 0-5 (Tuesdays)
August 5 – Make a Lava Lamp – Join a real scientist from "Let's Talk Science" and make your own lava lamps. Groovy!
August 12 – Make Magic – Make your own magic wand, watch as your name magically appears and more! Surprises and magic are just around the corner.
August Programs for ages 6-12 (Fridays)
August 1 – Duct Tape Creations – What can you make with a roll of duct tape? The possibilities are endless! Save your money…and make something unique to put it in!
August 8 – Make a Rocket – Join a real scientist from "Let's Talk Science" and become a rocket scientist while you make your own Alka-Seltzer rocket! This program is going to be a BLAST!
August 15 – Make your Own Jewellery – Join "All Tied Up" Jewellery and create your own necklace, bracelet and ring. Keep it for yourself and give it away as a gift! Participants will also learn to tie different types of knots.
**All Programs start at 2pm.
***LIMITED free tickets will be given out starting at 1:30 pm each week.
****Book Reporting will take place ANY time the library is open.
Daycares, summer camps and all other groups must call in advance.
