AsianheritageMay is Asian Heritage Month, a time to acknowledge and celebrate the long and rich history of Asian Canadians and their contributions to Canada. To celebrate Asian Heritage Month, Toronto Public Library will be hosting lots of fun and exciting programs and events throughout the month of May at branches everywhere. For example, there is the Asian Homelands Festival taking place at four branches across the city—including Agincourt District Branch, which highlights the culture, art, music, and more from the various corners of Asia.

Want to learn more about Chinese food? We will be hosting Homelands: A Culinary Journey Through China on Saturday May 30th from 10:30 am to 12 noon at the Agincourt District Library, as part of the Asian Homelands Festival. In this culinary journey, you will learn about the various ingredients and tools used in the preparation of Chinese food and Chinese traditions. Please call 416-396-8950 to register for this very interesting program!
