Teen Tuesdays @ Albert Campbell
Are you a teenager between 13 and 19 years old? Looking for something fun (and free) to do this summer? Well look no further, because the library has you covered! Every Tuesday is "Teen Tuesday" all summer long at the Albert Campbell branch of the Toronto Public Library!
What exactly is "Teen Tuesday" you ask? It's a weekly series of free programs for teens happening in the auditorium at Albert Campbell every Tuesday from 4-6 p.m. until August 28, 2012. What kinds of programs? To answer that question, keep reading…
Last week for "Teen Tuesday" we had an amazing program on special effects make-up. Professional make-up artist Leslie Gray came to the library with her kit of mortician's wax, fake blood, and oatmeal (!) and showed us how to create realistic-looking cuts, bruises, bullet wounds, and other gory effects, just like the ones you see in horror movies. It was totally gross and a ton of fun.
