Celebrate Seniors’ Month at the Library!
This June why not rediscover all the wonderful services and resources available for seniors through your local library? There’s lots to do at the library, including engaging book club discussions, computer classes specifically for seniors, jewellery making programs and individual free one-on-one help sessions with library staff.

Here are some other services that are available through the library:
Home Library Services
Home Library Service is available for Toronto residents who are homebound for three months or longer due to age, illness or disability. A variety of library materials, including books, paperbacks, large print books and talking books, are selected and delivered to you free of charge.
Seniors' Home Service
Get small collections of library materials delivered to seniors' apartments for residents to enjoy. The collections are changed up to four times a year. On-site service is provided by the institutional staff, residents and/or volunteers, not by library staff. For more information, call us at 416-395-5557.
Accessible Equipment
We have specialized equipment at some library branches for people with disabilities, including CCTV print magnifiers and wheelchair accessible furniture.

Book-a-Librarian
Book a free 30 to 60 minute appointment with a librarian through our Book-a-Librarian session who can help you with research, library information, career information, homework help and more. Make an appointment by calling your local library, completing the following web form or call Answerline at 416-393-7131.
