Banksy does Tinseltown
It seems the elusive graffiti artist has targeted Hollywood just days before the Academy Awards at which his own film, Exit Through the Gift Shop, could win in the best feature documentary category.
On various walls and billboards Banksy has turned Charlie Brown into an arsonist and Mickey Mouse into a drunken lout.
Sure they're funny, but where are the rats, Banksy?
I love Banksy's rats. They are the greasy, subversive, truth-telling anti-heroes that populate some of his best work.
Bring on the rats, Banksy! Hollywood needs them.
Of course, Toronto Public Library owns titles about Banksy. Librarians are subversive, truth-telling anti-heroes, too.

Interesting post, Alyson. Thanks you. The Banksy documentary is wonderful — well worth a look.
The Banksy Documentary was one of the best films I watched this year! It would be hilarious/ironic if it won’the Oscar; one of the most famously anti-establishment artists taking home one of the most staid and commercially-supported prizes in the business…
i loved Exit through the Gift Shop, too. And it would be so delicious if Banksy won.
