Are you a community theatre holding an audition in Toronto?

Are you an actor looking for a local audition? 

Toronto Public Library has a new Audition Blog (www.tpl.ca/auditions).

We list auditions when we have the play that's being performed or where the theatre/casting has dropped off a copy for actors to read or photocopy here at the Arts Department, 5th floor, Toronto Reference Library. A new feature is available for customers to sign up to receive an email alert when a new audition is posted.

Are you an influencer or do you have big social media footprint? We need your help to spread the word (please share this blog post or this URL www.tpl.ca/auditions).

We generally appeal to local Toronto and Southern Ontario community theatres but we have also held material and had notices for professional theatres from as far as Western and Atlantic Canada. We're not a complete list of local auditions as we're only posting where we have the script or play for you to read here.  

So … why not sign up or share with your friends and family?

If you have an audition you want us to post email us … but we want to make sure we own a copy of the play or that you send one along. Make sure to include info about audition dates / times and how to contact you for an audition.
