Ed Keenan's book Some great idea: good neighbourhoods, crazy politics and the invention of Toronto is available through the Toronto Public library website, and also available for download in ebook format. You can also read a review of his book from the National Post here.
In his critical examination of the 'Mega-city' and its key players, Keenan asks, among other

This sounds like a great event. I would like to hear the answer to if our city is bigger tan it’s mayor, or not. I certainly hope so. I have to work or I would love to check out the event. I will be ordering Ed Keenen’s book though.
