  1. Although the movie version of “I Am Legend” didn’t receive the highest praise from critics, the short story by Richard Matheson is most certainly worth reading. It is very different from the movie both in tone and in some of the themes it explores, so much so that I barely connect the two in my mind.
    Otherwise, I’m glad that the Twilight series didn’t make it onto this list. 🙂
