What do Men like to Read?
The Reading Man Project
which appeared on the Toronto Public Library website from 2006-2010 tried to get
men to answer this question. We asked twelve of them all of different ages,
backgrounds and professions, some famous and others famous in their own minds,
to tell us about their favourite books. No money was involved and we gave no
directions or limitations. We just wanted to know what they liked to read. The resulting reading list is rich, eclectic
and as diverse as the men who contributed to it.

Wednesday, June 9,
will be on hand to launch the list and tell us what they’re reading now: Andrew
Pyper (Author), Brett Polegato (Baritone), Giles Blunt (Author) and Peter
Birkemoe (Beguiling Bookstore owner).
