Man Asian Literary Prize Longlist Revealed
This year the Man Asian Literary Prize has expanded its focus to include all novels by Asian writers published in English. Previously the awards had only included works not yet translated into English. The organizers have implemented these changes to promote international awareness of Asian literature. 
Titles on the longlist are:

Hotel Iris by Yoko Ogawa
Monkey-Man by Usha K. R.
Serious Men by Manu Joseph
The Thing about Thugs by Tabish Khair
Three Sisters by Bi Feiyu
Tiger Hills by Sarita Mandanna
Way to Go by Upamanyu Chatterjee
The shortlist will be announced in February.
