My mother knew a woman called Pearl Buttons, but I believe that was her married name.
That actually sounds quite lovely. And I guess she couldn’t leave Mr. Buttons just because of the name. But she have married a Mr. Gates too….
A friend told me he went to school with a girl called Ima Junebug. I still don’t believe him. 🙂
And let’s not forget the famous Ima Hogg.
