Man Booker Shortlist Announced
Finalists for the 2012 Man Booker Prize were announced earlier today.This literary prize, considered one of the most prestigious in the world, is open to writers from the Commonwealth countries, Ireland and Zimbabwe. The best known title on the shortlist is Bring Up the Bodies by Hilary Mantel, the second book in her trilogy about Thomas Cromwell. The first book in the series, Wolf Hall, won'the award in 2009.
