Easy as Pie?

Pumpkin pieThanksgiving is all about tradition and my family has begun its traditional debate about dessert. Dessert is very important to us. Should we have pumpkin pie? Some of us love it, some of us hate it. Guess which category I'm in? For me it's only edible when I drizzle a little maple syrup on top. This is unbelievably delicious or as my family prefers to call it "unforgivably weird". Frankly, I would be perfectly happy if we skipped the pumpkin pie entirely but some family members argue that pumpkin pie must be consumed or it won't seem like Thanksgiving.

So, to pie or not to pie? That is the question. If you're also having trouble getting your Thanksgiving celebration together, Toronto Public Library can help with party planning and cooking books.
