Opening in movie theatres today is Noah, a big screen adaptation of the Biblical story about an all-consuming flood and one man's visionary rescue mission. Directed by Darren Aronofsky, the film stars Russell Crowe as the eponymous ark-builder. But if you're not particularly interested in seeing large scale water damage rendered with a blockbuster budget, perhaps you would prefer sitting down somewhere nice and dry with a book.
