Esi Edugyan on Man Booker Shortlist
Victoria author Esi Edugyan is one of six authors selected for the Man Booker Prize Shortlist. Her novel Washington Black, examines the horrors of slavery through the eyes of an 11-year-old slave. This is the second time Edugyan has been a finalist for the award; her Scotiabank Giller Prize winning novel Half-Blood Blues was on the shortlist in 2011.
