Cat gets cajoled into becoming a substitute teacher. Though reluctant, Cat tries to come up with interesting lessons for the litter of little kittens. The kittens love the messy unstructured class and help Cat put everything back in place at the end of the day.

A themed counting book filled with food, family and community. Grandma’s tiny house overflows with a romping good time. As the party grows and the tiny house seems even smaller, the story’s little hero has a brilliant idea.
Where’s Rodney, by Carmen Bogan, Illustrated by Floyd Cooper, 2017, ages 5-9
