Author Sandra Dempsey offers a dramatic presentation of excerpts from her acclaimed play Flying to Glory. The drama follows the journeys of two boyhood pals who enlist in the Royal Canadian Air Force in 1942.
Ms Dempsey is an award-winning author. She has presented her popular "performance-readings" before audiences at RCAF associations, legions, air museums, universities and libraries across Canada and the U.S.
Flying to Glory is described by one theatre critic as a "poignant, stirring and life-affirming dramatic tribute to the men and women who helped Canada make a valiant contribution to Allied supremacy during WWII."
