June is Seniors Month! Many branches of Toronto Public Library are offering special programs aimed to seniors. On Thursday, June 24, from 2-4 pm, a representative from the Investor Education Fund, a non-profit organization established by the Ontario Securities Commission, will discuss how seniors can protect themselves from investment scams and frauds.  Topics include: examples of common investment frauds and scams, warning signs and information about what seniors can do to avoid becoming victims. Sponsored by the Business and Urban Affairs Department, North York Central Library, the program will take place in the Auditorium. Register by phoning 416-395-5613.
