Enterprise Toronto is always offering great seminars to help small businesses succeed. Coming up soon are two that can help you understand how social media can help your small business. Both are free!

The Power of Email and Social Media

This seminar takes place at Toronto City Hall, Committee Room 4, 100 Queen Street W, on May 5th, 10:00 am to 11:30 am. It is conducted by Lisa Kember, from Constant Contact. Here's the description:

"Learn about the basics of what tools make up Social Media (Blogging, Twitter, Facebook, digg, flickr, del.icio.us, YouTube, etc) and how small business and non profits are using them to make connections and grow their networks."

 How To Market Your Business In the Changing World of Media

This will be offered at North York Civic Centre, Committee Room 3, 5100 Yonge Street (near the North York Centre subway station), on Thursday May 19th, from 10:00 am to 11:30 am, by The Yellow Pages Group.

"Platforms like blogging, Facebook, Twitter and mobile are changing the way people connect with information and how you should be marketing your business. In this how-to session, Yellow Pages Group will share practical tips to help your business get found by people who are ready to buy from you, wherever they're searching."
