Find the answers at the library! A guest speaker from Service Canada will be conducting a free workshop to help you navigate the mysteries of EI benefits. Come to Cedarbrae branch on Thursday, October 13 between 10:30 a.m. and noon for more information, including:
- how to qualify for benefits
- how to apply
- how long it takes to receive your first payment
- and the answer to your specific question!
And for those who wish to apply for their SIN card for the first time, please stick around after the EI session for the Social Insurance Number clinic from 12 to 1:30 p.m. – just remember to bring your original documents to show your legal status in Canada.
