At Home Alone Workshop

The first time I stayed home alone as a child was a rewarding as well as scary experience. I remember feeling like I was real big girl because my paren'ts were trusting me to be home alone. Even so, I was nervous and a wee bit scared. In retrospect, I'm sure my paren'ts felt the same way leaving me alone at home.

Staying home alone for the firHouse-clipart-3st time is a significant milestone for kids – as well as paren'ts. The At Home Alone workshop at Cedarbrae library will help you prepare for this.

At Home Alone – 5 steps to Independence is a fun family workshop to help families prepare their child(ren) (ages 10-14 years old) to be home alone safely.

  1. This is not exactly about the booby traps but it is an interesting DIY program called “Learn to use MaKey MaKey” at Cedarbrae Library on Thursday, October 3, 2013 6-7:30pm for ages 8-adult. It could be the first step to create/design!
