Planning A Road Trip?? Bring Along an eAudiobook
Summer vacations often involve quite a bit of car travel. One way to help pass the time on a long drive is to listen to an audiobook. Toronto Public Library has many 'e' audiobooks that can be borrowed and downloaded to computers, smartphones and tablets or transferred (from a computer) onto portable music players like iPods.
If you are looking for some suggestions for audiobooks to borrow, the Audies, sponsored by the Audio Publishers Association (APA), honours excellence in audiobooks and spoken word entertainment.

Toronto Public Library has two collections of eAudiobooks — OverDrive and OneClickdigital. Apple and Android apps are available for both services. OverDrive also has a Windows 8/10 app. Both services have desktop software that is needed to transfer audiobooks onto portable music players. Audiobooks checked out from these collections are borrowed for 21 days. Like eBooks, there are never fines with eAudiobooks.
