iPhone5 – Faster and Thinner
Today Apple revealed the latest version of the iPhone family
to the public. Not a lot is different, but the subtle changes they did
make, really do work. The new iPhone 5
has a larger screen, a more powerful chip that will make Internet speeds a lot
faster.
The first change to the phone is the most obvious one. The iPhone 5, has a noticeably much larger
display and it’s the thinnest and lightest iPhone. The 4-inch Retina display lets you see
everything more vivid and more lifelike.
Although the camera has the same mega pixels as the 4S, the
iPhone 5 however has more video capability as it shoots 1080p video with the
rear-facing camera and 720p video on the front-facing camera. Also part of the camera application, you can
shoot multiple images and create a stunning panorama photo. Another enhancement is the dynamic low light
mode that can evaluate nearby pixels to give up to 2 f-stops greater low light
performance, ideal for concerts and evening photography. It can also process
images at a rate of 40 percent faster.
With all the new gadgetry, the only thing else you can ask
for is a better battery then the 4S. A lot
of tech experts are a little disappointed with the new announcement, and were
hoping for greater changes to the battery life expectancy. Talk time is expected to stay the same, but
browsing time on Wi-Fi and Standby time has seen an increase.
The one change everyone seems to be talking about is the
adapter it will use. All Apple products
have used the 30 pin-prong cord from day one.
Apple unveiled the iPhone 5 will use a smaller adapter called Lightning. Some reason for this is for speed and because
of the size of the phone. Because it’s
thinner, they had to go this route.
Apple compatible products that need the old 30 pin prong will soon see a
new adapter in the next couple of weeks, shortly after its made available to
the public on September 21st.

.. Neat improvement on earphones. I understand there is more than one adapter requirement. When is the iPhone 6 coming ?? This all ain’t Goods News for RIM with the BlackBerry troubles.
