Free Stock Music
Just last month I was asked to help out with a video project
that was going to be shown to thousands and also posted online. It was to include photos and video clips
throughout the past year. To spice it up
a bit we started to think of the music component, but quickly ran into issues
of copyright and licensing costs.
I searched the web and came across some amazing websites
that offered stock music, but at a cost.
Then I found: FreeStockMusic.com, they had exactly what I needed, but at
no cost as all. They offer a wide
variety of free production music in multiple genres including: cinematic
scores, classical, corporate, hip-hop, pop and rock to name a few. Their music comes with a 100% royalty free license allowing you to use the
music in all types of productions, for worldwide distribution, forever. There
are never any licensing fees.

Signing up was easy to do and within a few minutes I was
searching their database and downloading songs to use in my project. Search by genre, listen to some samples and any other additional information for the song is available in the track details below. If you like one song, directly below it will be another song choice to download with a similar vibe.
With daily posts to the website and the choice of
downloading a song in either WAV, AIFF or in MP3 format, this is one site to
check out. If you’re looking to add a score
to a small movie project, or a piece of music to add that extra bit of professionalism

What a Great Score .. with the ability to add some sound to your videos without incurring the addition cost of royalties or breaking any copyrights and not only is this a FREE service, but the site makes it even easier to find that “ right music”, by categories of types of music to pick from.
