YAG Poster Challenge is ON!
Yes! This year's YAG Challenge is a poster design challenge! That's right, instead of a YAG Video, this year we're looking for your best graphic design and poster-making powers.
The YAG Challenge is a competition
between Youth Advisory Groups (YAGs) across the city to produce the best poster
that explains and spreads the word about Word Out 2013.
Get your YAG to do the challenge!
- Each YAG may only submit one entry. Additional entries will be disqualified.
- Can be collaboratively designed or done by 1 individual.
- Poster must fit within a 11×17 paper format
- Posters can be designed digitally or physically
- Posters can be submitted starting May 21st
- Deadline to submit is June 28th
Vote! EVERYONE gets to vote for their favourite poster starting Wednesday, July 5th and voting ends Sunday July 14th, 2013.
Guidelines for YAG leaders:
- Physical posters must be sent via interoffice mail to Thomas Krzyzanowski@ TRL and labelled “YAG Challenge 2013”
- Digital poster files can be sent to tkrzyzanowski@torontopubliclibrary.ca
- Deadline to submit is June 28st
- Even if YAG members have filled out Photo/Video
Permission forms they should NOT show their faces in the poster
YAG members should feel free to produce
whatever content they wish for the poster, within the constraints of the guidelines
that are provided above. An optimal poster would focus on books and/or reading
while simultaneously promoting other aspects of Word Out! 2013 such as
discussion threads, contests and blogs.
Any concerns or questions pertaining to the
submitting process and guidelines may be e-mailed to tkrzyzanowski@torontopubliclibrary.ca
or your Word Out Area Representative.

Unfortunately I’m both technologically and creatively challenged. As much as i’d love to enter in this contest (it sounds really cool!), I won’t, but good luck to everyone entering and may the best man/woman win! I bet you’ll all do great guys!
