Launching Your Business Online

Last night as part of our small business month we held a program titled Launching Your Business Online at the Toronto Reference Library. I want to thank everyone that took the time to come out and I hope you enjoyed it.  I also want to thank everyone who stuck around at the end to ask questions.

A Major component of the workshop is the presentation along with a handout.  Just recently we made a point of updating both and made a digital copy available below.  Feel free to download both and start taking advantage of some of the great resources available at the library.

I also want to mention once again, the classes listed online and in the What's On booklet are all free.  Included with this are the classes on Photoshop, Website Design and the Drop-In sessions and we'll continue to offer them in the new year with additional new classes, so stay tuned for news and updates on future programming.

Lastly, I know I mentioned quite a few website template sites, and once again I am posting some of my favourites below:

Remember, it's easier to get someone to build a website for you, but when it comes to making changes, updates, on a more regular basis, you'll be in full control and your website can be more of a tool.  In addition, it's nice not to have to rely on anyone else to get it done for you.

Good luck and have fun!!
Greg

  2. Loved the presentation on “Launching Your Business Online”! It has motivated me to learn how to update an existing site which was created by a professional; also, for me to create one of my own. I can’t wait to attend more courses offered by the Digital Design Studio in 2014.
