Reelworld Film Festival at the Library

The Reelworld Film Festival showcases Canadian and International films that explore some of the most current and pressing social issues facing the world. This year, the Festival has partnered with the Toronto Public Library to deliver an expanded program of events.

Please join us on Friday, October 13 from 12 noon to 4 p.m. at the Toronto Reference Library for Reelworld's LAUNCH Industry Sessions, a series of panel discussions from industry professionals and filmmakers.There are four key components to the programming this year: Pitch & Fund, Direct, Market and Distribute. Please register here for free if you plan to attend.

On Saturday, October 14 Reelworld will present two pop-up events at Learning Centre 1 in the Toronto Reference Library. First, drop by and experience the Festival's curated 360-degree short films at the VR Film Screening Pop-up. Next, move on to the Video Game Pop-up, featuring games that spark conversation and inspire social change. If you're looking for even more VR experiences, be sure to keep an eye on the library's lineup of VR workshops and demos offered by the Digital Innovation Hubs and Pop-Up Learning Labs.

Lastly, if you're interested in attending the Festival, you're in luck! Free passes redeemable for tickets to festival screenings have been generously provided by Reelworld and will be offered through the Museum and Arts Pass program at select branches.
