Let’s Learn Tech Online, our free and interactive courses offered in partnership with Cisco Networking Academy, has been expanded to include new courses and resources for learners who are interested in developing information technology job skills. These courses are informed by industry expertise. Courses include Introduction to IoT, Introduction to Cybersecurity, Cybersecurity Essentials, Linux Unhatched, Linux Essentials and Python Essentials. They can be taken anytime, anywhere. Rolling enrolment in these nine-week courses is ongoing and the next enrolment phase starts on May 18, 2020.

Advanced Linux Courses

For a limited time, we are offering two advanced courses on the Linux operating system. These courses can help learners prepare for the LPI LPIC-1: Linux Administrator certificate exam. You do not need a library card to access these courses.

Registration is open now and closes on June 1, 2020
Once you register and activate your course you will have access to the materials for 90 days to complete the course

Explores advanced shell features, user and system administration, networking, system security and more in the Linux operating system.

Online Meetups

Online meetups are now available for both Python Essentials and Introduction to Cybersecurity. Sessions are held once a week for learners to ask questions and have discussions. Invitations to these online meetups are sent to all learners registered in the courses.
