Employment in 2030: Trends Expected to Impact the Future of Work
The Brookfield Institute for Innovation + Entrepreneurship recently released a report entitled: Ahead by a Decade: Employment in 2030 as part of their Employment in 2030 project. This project examines the skills and occupations that will be in highest demand as well as the trends that will have the greatest impact. Not surprisingly, a number of the trends expected to impact the future of work are related to current and emerging technologies.
Employment in 2030 consists of three reports which document the phases of the project. You can read the research findings in the following reports:
- Turn and Face the Strange: Changes impacting the future of employment in Canada – This report summarizes the 31 trends that are most likely to change the Canadian Labour market over the next decade.
- Signs of the Times: Expert insights about employment in 2030 – Expert views on how jobs are expected to change in the next 10 years and which trends are most likely to affect them.
- Ahead by a Decade: Employment in 2030 – Summarizes the findings of the project as a whole and provides a skills and occupation forecast for 2030.
