Youth Advisory Group Profile: Leaside Branch
The Youth Advisory Group (YAG) is a group of teenagers who volunteer and attend meetings to discuss the development of teen spaces at the library. This blog post explains a little bit about what happens at Leaside YAG.
Number of Members: 21
Memorable YAG Moment: Virtual Reality
"In November 2018, there was this program called Pop-up Learning Lab (PULL) where a digital technician ran different digital events each day. During one of our meetings, the digital technician came and he ran a Virtual Reality (VR) event with the group. It was fun because everyone was competing to see who can get the highest score. It was also very funny seeing people’s reactions when they got very surprised while using VR headsets and having that great VR experience."
