Natural Ways to Bust Your Cold and Flu!
Natural remedies and cures have become very popular these days for all ailments and concerns. this time of year, when if you are like me, you will have had at least one cold by now, natural ways to bust your cold and flu sound nice and soothing to me!
I was watching the Marilyn Denis morning show one day, and came across a segment on natural ways to beat the cold and flu hosted by Julie Daniluk, tv host and nutritionist.
Julie pointed out some great tips that I would like to try the next time I have a cold or worse, the flu:
- natural sea salt spray or salt inhaler
- oil of oregano drops
- probiotics- make your own with a fermentation crock using veggies
- make your own bone broth in a slow cooker with bone scraps, leftovers, veggies, kale (vitamin B), ginger, garlic- this is very immune rich (thins out mucus and helps the immune system recover)
- use a fish baker and bake vitamin D rich salmon (salmon is the richest source of vitamin D found naturally
- have fish in general at least three times per week
- Juice it up! drink tons of natural juices with whole fruits and veggies and use lots of raw garlic
Follow these great tips and more from the segment to help feel better faster, without resorting to drugs!
And of course…read library books on natural cures for the cold and flu as well, simply type "natural remedies" in the toronto public library website search box:

Cold and flu are the most common problems faced during winter reason. Even I face this problem very frequently and want some natural remedies. I agree with the fact that using garlic can cut the risk of cold. Another tip is taking honey which has many benefits and reduces cold.
Valuable post for flu remedies for all.
