Ebola… only a plane ride away?
In this age of global travel, many of us are wondering what our risk of catching Ebola may be. For the longest, Ebola was just a daily news item but as the outbreak continues to grow, there are mounting concerns over its potential spread beyond West Africa… Ebola is no longer just an African problem! In these days of interconnectedness, Ebola may be only a plane ride away.
On the one hand, we are told that Ebola can be contained with appropriate care, on the other hand, even the World Health Organization (WHO) warns that the Ebola virus is spreading too fast.
