Let’s Get Walking!

The days are longer, the snow is melting…it's time to get your walking shoes on and head outside. Walking outdoors is a great way to embrace nature, get your daily dose of Vitamin D, and get in shape. Did you know that recent research shows that just 5 minutes outdoors will improve a bad mood?
Before you lace up your shoes, join fitness instructor and health educator, Judy Chu, for tips and information to get the most of your walk. Registration is not required for this interactive workshop, Walking and Balance: A Solution to Your Exercise Problems, held at at North York Central Library on Wednesday, March 20 at 2 pm. There will be another session of this workshop at Bayview Branch on Wednesday, April 24 at 2 pm. This session requires registration.
