Job fairs are a good way to meet a lot of employers at one time. Through their attendance, companies are signaling that they are ready to hire someone, maybe you!

Here are some websites that list job and career fairs in the GTA.

I have listed one or two sample events for each job fair site. These are all being held soon. Be sure to visit the websites to find the latest events and details about dates, times and employers who will be there.

Events, Toronto Training Board   Job fairs, training programs and other employment and career events in the Greater Toronto Area.

March 24, March 26 event: Meet landscape employers at the YMCA on Grosvenor Street (near College Subway)

When: Tuesday March 24, 2pm for the Info Fair and Thursday March 26, 9am to noon for the Job Fair.

City of Toronto list of job fairs and special events   Tips and information about upcoming job fairs and events in Toronto.

March 25 event: CAREER MOVES at the Kipling Community Centre

When: Wednesday March 25, 1-4:30 pm .

For: Youth in the North Etobicoke area aged 16-29. Pre-registration is required. Check the site for details.

National job fair and training expo 

March 31 and April 1 event: Canada's largest multi-sector job and career fair at the Metro Toronto Convention Centre, 255 Front Street West.

When: Tuesday March 31 and Wednesday April 1 from 10am to 7pm

Fee: Cost is $3.75. No pre-registration but see the site for details of registering when you arrive.

Possibilities, Toronto's Online Employment Resource Centre, lists job fairs as well as career planning workshops, help for professions and trades as well as other events. To see just job fairs, use the dropdown menu. 

March 19 event: a multiple employer job fair recruiting people willing to travel to South Korea to teach English at the Toronto Centre Employment Resource Centre, 21 St.Clair Avenue East,

When: Thursday March 19 from 10am. Check site for details.

March 26 event: a bilingual fair for French speakers at St. Lawrence MARKET Hall (Front Street)

When: Thursday March 26 from 11am – 8pm. Check the site for details.

Toronto area job and career fairs   Job fairs in the GTA. Includes employer sponsored fairs as well as employment resource centre and community job fairs.

March 25 event: a job fair sponsored by JVS at Yorkgate Mall (north of Finch).

When: Wednesday March 25 10am – 2pm

  2. Thanks, Mary Ann. I revised the sample events. I think they are easier to read now. I also put a clearer note saying that these are just events that are happening soon. Readers, we do appreciate feedback. That’s how we get better!
