Job programs:
The provincial and federal governments have a variety of programs to help you earn money this summer. For example, you can create your own Summer Company. The deadline for applying is May 4th, 11:59 pm or earlier if the program reaches capacity earlier.
Service Canada has information and programs just for youth and students. Some of them may have already hired for this summer.
Advice and help:
Get free help from a Summer Jobs Service (Toronto) agency. Check the list of agencies in Toronto – use the interactive map (Google) to help you pinpoint where they are located. To be eligible for these jobs, you must be 15 to 24 years old (up to 29 years for a person with a disability) and planning to return to school in the fall.
Get free help at an Employment Resource Centre.
