Toronto Police Service Information Fairs

The Recruiting Section of the Employment Unit will be hosting general information sessions on the OACP constable selection process for anyone interested in a career in policing.
Information sessions are held at Toronto Police Service Headquarters, Auditorium, 2nd Floor, 40 College Street, Toronto.

Next sessions: Tuesday, June 16, 7-9 pm and Tuesday, July 7, 10 am-12noon. See the Police Service website for more dates and information.

Deadline for application for 2010 jobs is Monday June 15, 12 noon.

Application instructions for new applicants and for previous applicants is posted on the City of Toronto website.

Attending an information session is recommended but not mandatory.

Date: Thursday, June 18, 2009
Time: 1 – 5 pm
Place: North York Civic Centre, 5100 Yonge Street, lower level. TTC: North York Centre subway.
Pre-register online. Free.

Free preparation workshops at Chesswood Employment Resource Centre (CERC) and Scarborough Centre for Employment Accessibility (SCEA).

Summer Job Fairs, CNE in Toronto

Date: Wednesday, June 24, 2009 from 10 am to 1 pm and Friday. June 26 from 10 am to 1 pm
Place: Both job fairs take place at Exhibition Place in the Food Building (Enter via East Side).
Both the GO Train and the TTC stop in front of the Food Building.

The minimum age for these jobs is 14 years old. The CNE runs from mid-August until September 1st.

    Our facilities are easily accessible to both TTC Subway and Streetcar lines – use St. Patrick or Osgoode Station.
    From Osgoode Station walk west on Queen St, or get on the 501 Queen Streetcar Westbound, and get off at McCaul. Walk north on McCaul, and turn left at Grange Rd.
