World Service Cargo Practice Firm

If you have been reading our blog, you know that I am quite excited about practice firms. When our settlement worker pointed out an error in my post about the participants in World Service Cargo, I checked with the practice firm and of course, Stanley was right! The program is for both immigrant men and women.

World Service Cargo kindly sent me their flyer with the requirements for participants. You must be an immigrant who meets the following criteria:

  • Job-ready, and only needs relevant Canadian work experience
  • Are able to speak English at an intermediate-to-advanced level
  • Have the necessary qualifications and skills to work in your area of expertise
  • Your work experience needs cannot be met through a wage subsidy or job creation program, or through other local employment services
  • Legally entitled to work in Canada

Free Information sessions are held every Wednesdays at 10:00 am. Contact them at 647-258-0388 to register and send your resume to career@worldservicecargo.com Recruitment is continuous. Applicants will need to be assessed at an Employment Assessment Centre.

You can get much more information from their flyer: Download WorldServiceCargoFlyer-Dec2009
