Confronting Adversity
Harsh-sounding words, aren't they? How many times have you applied for a promotion and didn't get it? Or put 110% in your presentation and have your boss make unflattering comments about it? You can retreat sullenly and silently curse the powers that be OR you can'take as much action as possible to help you achieve your goal next time around. Take the example of the less-than-stellar presentation – chin up! Resolve to take public speaking courses, find out what happened during your presentation that was negative, and practice, practice, practice! You will become a great public speaker!
