I was browsing through Toronto Reference Library's Career Books collection the other day and happened upon an interesting title, 150 Best Low-stress Jobs. Curious, I flipped through it and found my profession: Librarian. Yep, this confirms it – Librarians are #29 on the list of 150 best low-stress jobs overall (Number 1 being the least stressful.) Every once in awhile, I research the labour market conditions for my profession. If you are looking for a job, this type of research is even more crucial. You need to know the job prospects, where the jobs are located, salary expectations, etc.
