Teaching English overseas is a great opportunity to earn some money, learn about a new culture, and meet interesting people. In order to teach English overseas, you may need a bachelor's degree from a university and come from an english speaking country. However, some countries may require a TEFL/TESL certificate.

The Toronto District School Board is now offering a Teach English as a Second Language course.

The course is offered on Saturdays and Sundays from 9 a.m. - 6 p.m. January 8, 9, 15, 16, 22 and 23,  2011. Space is limited so register early.  Total cost of the course is $998 which includes tax and material fees. An optional 40 hours of practicum is available for an additional fee of $200.
