Social Networking
Most of my friends are armed with an arsenal of networking tools. They are members of professional organizations (medical, legal, financial, information technology) and are proficient in using LinkedIn, blogs and personal Web pages. Everyone should, at the very least, network either in person or online. Why, you ask? These are now key components of how job seekers find great job opportunities and how companies find promising new employees. September marks the busiest hiring season of the year as recruiters and decision-makers return from a summer vacation. So get a move on!
