Need Some Work Motivation?
Sometimes it's hard to get motivated to wake up every day and go to work. It can feel like the same routine, day-in and day-out. And even when one doesn't have a job, it can be even harder to snap out of the comforts of home and go after a new career. So in this blog post I've decided to hopefully inject some enthusiasm into you! I know for me, when I see other people doing great things, it inspires me to want to work harder and do the best I can. Fortune Magazine lists 40 under 40 people who you can be inspired from and in case you're not in the mood to read the entire thing, I've pulled out a few highlights to entice you. Also, selection for this list used to be based entirely on wealth, but now includes achievements, ambitions and influence. Congrats to these young professionals!
#1. Adam Neumann
In a nutshell: At the age of 36, Adam is the CEO of WeWork, an organization that transforms buildings into beautiful, collaborative workspaces.
#3. Ryan Graves
In a nutshell: Ever heard of Uber? As the company's first CEO, his current stake in the company is valued at close to $1 billion. Not bad for a 32-year-old.
#6: Taylor Swift
In a nutshell: We may have her songs stuck in our heads, but Taylor has also used her influence to take a strong stance against free music. Can you believe she's still in her 20s?
#40. Ronda Rousey
In a nutshell: She may be last on the list, but she's first in my books! She's earned an estimated $5 million dollars this year, doing what you ask? Being undefeated as a UFC fighter! You go girl.
